Shane Hubbell founded Alkali Partners to better serve middle-market technology and tech-enabled service companies and now serves as a Managing Partner. Shane has more than 15 years of investment banking, software engineering, and operations experience. He has advised on sell-side engagements with an aggregate transaction value of over $5B.

‍Prior to founding Alkali Partners, Shane was a vice president of Arbor Advisors, where he executed M&A transactions and private capital raises for mid-market technology companies. He began his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York.

‍Shane holds dual BS degrees in Biology and Economics from Union College and completed an advanced immersive software engineering program at HackReactor . In his free time, Shane enjoys time with his family, skiing, swimming, Peloton, and hiking.   Learn More

Chris Skubic 

Managing Director, Alkali Partners

Chris Skubic is a Managing Director at Alkali Partners. Chris has extensive experience closing transactions ranging from small minority investments to multi-million-dollar acquisitions.

‍Prior to Alkali Partners, Chris worked in corporate development at Autodesk and at Intel Capital. His operating experience includes‍ co-founding a manufacturing-focused software company, leading a privately held managed-services company through a successful exit, and working as an industrial chemical engineer.

Chris holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and a Master of Operation Management from Northwestern University. In his free time, Chris enjoys running, fishing, golfing, cooking, and hiking with his wife Shelby and five kids. Learn More
