Prior to founding Alkali Partners, Shane was a vice president of Arbor Advisors, where he executed M&A transactions and private capital raises for mid-market technology companies. He began his career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York.

Bill is a successful senior tech executive, financier, company builder, and certified corporate director. He is a past president of Tech Coast Angels, the largest angel investing group in the US. In addition to his direct investments, he has helped raise over $150M in private equity funds for his portfolio companies.
During his operating career, Bill helped lead the growth of International Rectifier (NYSE: IRF) from $60M to over $700M. Bill ran its largest business unit, taking it from $100M to $400M in revenue, and then oversaw its sales and marketing departments.
Bill was the first outside board member for eight companies and chairman of the board of three, with each company successfully sold. Nine of his private equity investments have gone to liquidity events with sales to both private and public entities.

Chris Skubic is a Managing Director at Alkali Partners. Chris has extensive experience closing transactions ranging from small minority investments to multi-million-dollar acquisitions. Before Alkali Partners, Chris worked in corporate development at Autodesk and at Intel Capital. His operating experience includes co-founding a manufacturing-focused software company, leading a privately held managed-services company through a successful exit, and working as an industrial chemical engineer.
Chris holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, and a Master of Operation Management from Northwestern University.
